Eliot Sinclair & Partners’ environmental engineering team is led by a senior Environmental Scientist supervising an Environmental Engineer and support staff, with input from our planning, surveying, civil engineering and land development teams. The management of stormwater run-off during the construction phase of land development projects, and the preparation of detailed erosion and sediment control plans for local authorities, clients and contractors, currently forms the bulk of our environmental consultation work.
Since the advent of the National Environmental Standard for Assessing Contaminants in Soil to Protect Human Health in 2011, ground contamination assessments are routinely required as a precursor to land development. ESP’s environmental engineering team undertakes site investigations and assessments and prepares Preliminary Site Investigation and Detailed Site Investigation reports based on the soil test results. We provide best practice remediation measures within Remedial Action Plans if results indicate soil contamination above acceptable standards. We guide clients through the site remediation process then provide confirmation of remediation through the preparation of Site Validation Reports.
