Working closely with Ngāi Tahu Property and Wilkie Bruce Architects, Eliot Sinclair provided the engineering design services for the open plan offices which were purpose built to accommodate our 100 surveyors, engineers and planners. Working to a relatively face track programme, the project was completed in just six months.
The construction comprises 19m deep screw piles which support the foundation and ground floor slab, precast concrete wall panels, concrete first floor and structural steel roof structure.
The two level office building has a distinctive wedge form and combined with a north facing feature timber screen and zinc cladding to the mezzanine level adopts a striking pose at the end of Troup Drive, Addington.
